Draws count as losses for the winrate calculation

Im not sure if you fully understand how win rate percentage is calculated....

Wins ÷ Games

Win ratio is calculated by

Win ÷ Losses which is unaffected by draws as they dont factor into either of these categories.

Percentage does factor draws and yes essentially counts as a lose as it still affects your games played without adjusting wins.

Scenario:

9 Wins... 1 Draw... 10 games played Means you do not have 100% win rate.

9 ÷ 10 = 0.9 × 100 90% win rate.

This doesnt however mean that your always going to have a negative score. Just that the percentage is going to find your AVERAGE win percentage. A loss or draw is a permenant mark against your score for sure but that doesnt mean your forever going to be negative.

In your case lets add 9 to your win and games played saying you won your next 9 games.

37 ÷ 70 = 52% you can still increase it see!

Your Ratio would be 28 games won 28 games lost 28÷28 = 1.0 Win Rate you win 1 game for every game you lose. See this isnt affected by draws just wins and loses your percentage is an average from games played.
