Driver cutting off cyclist on March Road (Ottawa)

This behavior is a sub culture. Purposely looking for an instance where you can shame a bad driver. The video clearly shows that you saw the van coming and chose to continue moving forward. Where is the logic in this? Yes, road rules wise he made a mistake but that doesn't mean you should put your life in danger to prove a point. I had a similar incident where a motorcyclist was driving behind me and slightly looked down to adjust my AC and then to my surprise he pulled up next to me to tell me about how i was putting his life in danger by using my cell phone. This clearly was a case of someone looking for issues instead of paying attention to the road, I told him to fuck off and pay attention to the road instead, he chose to drive in front of me slowly and turned around on his bike to get my plate (i guess to scare me that he was going to report me, im from quebec so no plate on the front) he slowed down to about 20km/h again to drive next to me to ask me "where is your plate" I again told him to fuck off and pay attention on the road and he slowed down to get behind me to then again get my plate...... not only were we both slowing down in moving traffic and having a shouting match while driving in an 80 zone we were now endangering everyone around us. Car, motorcycle, suv or big rig people are still prone to make mistakes. If you get cut of by an 18 wheeler do you drive in front of it to prove a point or do you yield to avoid dying? All of these people talking about "let's get this guy fired" you have no idea about someones situation, he kicked the guys truck and got kicked back for it.
