EA- the stupid lazy one that gets most of the hate, and makes half assed attempts to hide their greed.
Activision- literal greed incarnate, unapologetic in their thirst for all the money in the world. Rides a game into the grave. Has pay to win mechanics in BO4. (Call of Duty is living on borrowed time with how they treat their developers and bullshit practices, yet people keep buying the same re-skinned shit year after year) There is no low Activision won’t sink to, to get money.
Epic- ‘The road to hell is paved with good intentions.’ A factually worse store than compared to Steam. Are hypocrites claiming they are pro-developer, yet there have been reports of people at Epic working 100 hour work weeks. Strong arming people into using their inferior store. Throws money from their printing press Fortnite at businesses for exclusivity rights to their store, in what Tim Sweeney (Epic CEO) believes will get Valve to change the price model they have, yet they fuck up somehow and Steam has done jackshit.
Take-Two- Apathy. Doesn’t care tries to act like a good guy, but ultimately doesn’t give a shit about the consumer. Puts in fucking commercials in NBA2K19 and you have to watch them even if your game has loaded. Says the stupid shit you’ll ever hear from someone defending loot boxes.
These are the Four Horseman of the gaming apocalypse. Anyone of the other 3 besides EA would work just as well.
