Looking at the republicans in Congress and in the current administration it never crossed your mind that just maybe in recent history (which is pretty much all that website covers) republican politicians do lie more than democratic ones?

I said this is true already in my opinion. It doesn't mean politifact isn't biased as well. Read the studies on it -- they provide some good data. You shouldn't trust a source just because you agree with it.

Also the subjective opinion from a writer at the disreputable Human Events (they gave Origin of Species honorable mention on their list of most harmful books of all times for fucks sake) is hardly meaningful. They aren't known for intellectual honesty, and I have no idea why anyone would give a shit about an opinion piece written by one of their hacks.

Agreed, and I don't agree with them at all. Read the studies and the data behind it though and you'll see the site is fairly biased. That doesn't mean they're wrong, but the truth is likely exaggerated.
