no, i am not trolling. i want you to define treatment when it comes to mental illness, because you seem pretty ignorant. everyone who is taking a psychiatric medication is currently a guinea pig for psychiatrists and drug companies. CBT and DBT are both subject to the willingness of the patient and you certainly have to be wired to conform to accept what they teach. ECT is essentially torture, they don't know the long term effects of TMS yet and lobotomies obviously don't work. i am not talking about people with depression or suicidal ideation. i am talking about people with severe bipolar, schizophrenia, CPTSD etc. people who have periods of lucidity but cannot have a "normal" life otherwise or who cannot have a "normal" life without high doses of drugs that give them debilitating, disgusting, life-altering side-effects, or people whose trauma is going to affect them lifelong and is genuinely crippling. you shouldn't need the governments approval to die.
