Every child needs and deserves both a father figure and a mother figure

I'm not arguing that they're hetero at all? I'm arguing that traits that are traditionally attributed to hetero gender roles are often still displayed in same sex relationships. Because, they are not exclusive to or owned by hetero relationships, they are natural relationship dynamics. Often, one person will provide structure, and the other will provide nurture and care. Often being the key word. Traditionally in hetero relationships the man was the one who provided structure, simply because that was forced by society as the man would work and make money and run the house. Whereas the mother would raise the children thus being the carer. Those tropes of structure and care are still generally prevalent, regardless of the gender of the people involved. Anecdotally is certainly obvious in all the couple's i know, both hetero and same sex
