Ex-theists: What crux/question lead you to atheism?

How can I be a better Muslim woman? I wonder if reading Quran helps?

Oh...

Where is the part where Allah says why he gives women the mind and will if he only wants us to obey fathers and husbands? Why there are not any female prophets among the many males mentioned? Well... Maybe women are testing to overcome their pride and accept that they are below men. I am kind of upset the creator thinks I am below them, but what do I know? That should be somehow true.

Does Allah not going to differentiate the sin of unmaritial consensual sex and rape? Is a rapist and adultery the same degree of evil?

Why there are parts about telling only Muhammed's wives how to act? I mean should I follow their example or not? And why there is a seemingly unnecessary part that changes social norms so Muhammed can marry his daughter in law? What universal purpose it serves?

Am I missing something? Where is the great value that Islam attributed to women, which I have been told by my parents my whole life? Do they only mean Islam values a woman as a men's property?

Yes.

Am I gonna accept that? Am I gonna let my sisters and daughters accept that?
