Fathers & Grandfathers of reddit who are >50 years old. What are some things you wish you would of told your late 20's early 30's self that you know now. Im talking about raising kids, house/yard advice, relationship with your wife/family?

All funny shit aside I worked to get here. You grew up with the cheapest housing and cheapest college this country has ever known, meanwhile I’m working 12 hours a day to make ends meet despite being salutatorian of a class of 1,500 people in high school. Fuck you. I’m grateful for what little my parents gave me. I’m not fucking spoiled. You didn’t give me shit. These hands know more pain and work than your tired ass does. Spoiled? Fucking spoiled? No generation truly grew up with more shit handed to them than you did. Don’t fucking downplay me. Boomers are supposed to be wise from age but it seems like you’re making assumptions like a teenager. Fuck off.
