Foreign Language in High School

As an engineering student in college, I actually took 4 years of French of high school including AP French because I enjoyed it and kinda waited to do linguistics at the time anyway. But even with that said I don’t regret not doing it because I still practice my French occasionally for fun. If you enter humanities you will probably have some sort of language requirement you’ll need to fulfill. You may be able to waive yourself out of it if you have adequate knowledge of another language though. If you can get college credit out of it, 100% take it, otherwise still take it just because it’s fun to learn another language and can help waive yourself of a potential language requirement.
