THis is her post:So... This evening a family of 7 came in to dine. 2 adults & 5 children who were all of the same age, and clearly not biological siblings. 1 boy had red hair and a severely disfigured top lip. One boy looked to be Asian. And two girls with dark hair and thick glasses. & one other... I noticed right away that this one boy had drank his entire glass of water as soon as he sat down. So I went on to ask him if he'd like some more. He looked up at me nervously and said "Ask Mama". When I saw his face, my stomach SANK to my feet. I thought, this boy looks exactly like Kyron Horman! I filled his water and before I even walked off, he drank the entire second glass. I refilled, again. My boss, who doesn't speak very good English looked at me and said she recognized the boy as missing but didn't know the name. I googled Kyron Horman and she almost fell over yelling YEAH YEAH THE BOY THAT BOY! We sat there shocked for a few minutes wondering what we were going to do with our suspicions. She asked if I would distract the family while she tried to take a picture of the boy and I nervously agreed. We managed to get a few blurry, low quality pictures, but not without another party of two noticing us. The woman waved me over, and asked if what we were doing was because of the boy. I said yes, we think he looks like Kyron Horman. She threw herself back in her seat and said "my son and I have been talking about the SAME thing since we walked in!" And they had already gone as far as walking outside to snap pictures of the license plates! I couldn't believe it, we had our suspicions, but now here was another party who was already snapping pictures too. The table next to THEM caught on and were agreeing with the possibility as well, as the boy appeared to be about 12 years old. My boss decided it would be best to call the police and see what they are willing to do. Of course the good old reedsport police showed up after they had left. BUT we had photos of the boy, the parents, and vehicles, a credit card transaction, and 8 people giving official police statements. I feel sorry for the family if it isn't Kyron. but when you get that sinking feeling and imagine what it would be like if it was your child out there and nobody took action, you just have to do it. The police put out an apb for both vehicles and if stopped they will have to show documentation that the boy is theirs. They have not been stopped yet. We overheard that they were just passing through and had been at the Aquarium in Portland earlier today. or at least the father, and one young girl had. Another boy mentioned he had collected river water in his pants pocket from the Willamette today. This may have all been for nothing, but if you saw that boy smile your jaw would have dropped. Unbelievable resemblance. My interactions with the parents were cold & short. They seemed bothered by help or service and she insisted that I did NOT serve the kids but to put all the plates and entrées in front of her and leave them there for her to serve. The mother and father were often holding each other with their eyes closed for long periods and it was definitely awkward displays of affection. The called the boy who looked like Kyron "Chris". I saw that the boy had a key around his neck, and I asked him about it, he responded, "Mine, key." I said, Is it special? He said nothing, but smiled so big! That smile, and those teeth... Unbelievable how much he looked like him. Same big bright blue eyes, same hairline and hair color. If it wasn't him, the parents should strongly consider having him wear a sign saying "I am not Kyron Hormon". Anyway, like I said this may have all been for nothing, but if there is a chance that it could be him, myself and a handful of others just could not let it go without a report.
