How has your logic determined my analogy to "not make any sense?"

A hyper realistic artist strives through talent and dedication to resemble real life, ie a photograph.

A digital camera is a tool used to make capturing moments in photograph easier/higher quality. (ie putting the artists' talents in our hands)

One of the previously accepted points was "why does the medium matter? Music is music."

Applied to analogy "why does the medium matter? A picture is a picture."

That being said a toddler with a digital camera and instruction could feasibly take a photo that could equal the technical quality to that of a hyper-realistic artist's painting.

Does that necessarily mean that their talent level is "different, but equal?" Of course the answer is absolutely not.
