Ah, yes, the famous genre of “movies”. I’m kidding, but you’re mixing your metaphor to the point of arguing for disliking anime. It’s a genre, so is it not okay to dislike it in the same way you might dislike, say, “horror”? Sure, there’ll be a couple of films/ shows that you like but, overall, avoiding it is okay. I typically avoid anime, my brother has been trying to get me to watch JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure for years, I’ve tried it, not for me. I did love Space Dandy though, and One-Punch Man (good god, One-Punch Man!). I tend to avoid anime unless something looks really appealing to me, it’s worked so far. Honestly, OP really needs to get his shit together and just learn how to consume media better.
