Game has WAY too much lag in The DZ lately

"smart ass response"

I'm just telling you what I know. We broke ubisoft records in many ways but one of those ways is how much money ubisoft invested in us, which is a significant amount more than you think.

I never said that other issues would not be fixed either, I explained why people are having issues and that right now there's not much we can do, we can't increase the number of servers because even if we decided to today there simply aren't that many servers available to us and it would take a long time to get them racked, cabled, tested (maybe a month), and then there's the glacial pace of the purchasing team in HQ, so even if it were decided today it would probably be august before we actually saw new servers so we could start racking/testing/cabling.

"netcode" is a weird thing too, you want things to be checked by the server, so when the server is lagging (IE; updates that are being processed by the server are taking longer) then you will notice latency, that's not fixed by netcode because netcode is just how the game reacts to network latency.

network latency is not the problem, your client is talking to the server fine, it's just that the server is doing much more per player in terms of calculations which is why you're noticing slow updates.

When an exploit gets fixed, it will decrease load on the gameserver and bring latency down as a result.

I get that you're frustrated but saying "this is the worst game release in 32 years" is such hyperbole that I have difficulty taking you seriously, I understand there are issues but you don't help anything by going off the rails.

You can't honestly say we're worse than Ride to Hell: Redemption.

The game wasn't "broken" from the supplier, the release was fine, the hackers were an issue but the exploits were not so rampant, with the update 1.1 people are getting (rightfully) upset and everyone is scrambling to fix it. These things take time and by not being patient you just sound like an entitled child.
