NRO, more specifically Ben Shapiro, has helped to push the narrative that any Newspaper or Outlet that writes up something that goes against Conservatism is apparently 'Fake news'. This is an issue because it makes people question all Journalism, regardless of source, that goes against their views. So if you are Pro-Life and a Newspaper writes a story about Planned Parenthood and the help it gives women, you'll immediately discredit because it goes against what you believe. That has snowballed into what we are dealing with today where people actively ignore factual reporting because it doesn't align with their belief system. That is dangerous.

NRO might not be directly to blame, but they are definitely at fault for helping to make this a thing.
