Yea I queued into a DF T10 earlier today with 6 people. 5 people there from our raid group who had cleared it dozens of times, and 1 new guy who we'd explained the fight to. There was a DF SMN, who seemed to know what to do (not sure if he was new) and a DF tank, too. We tried to get our ninja to sneak past the very first trash you see, but they saw him anyway. (Apparently you have to use the jump move or something, we don't know, none of us main NIN) and this tank just says in chat "first timers" and something about how he's gonna go sneak past. Ok fine, then he sneaks past but activates all the stuff. So, we clear the trash and get to the boss. I say which adds I'll take and suggest that I take the OT role for now and he pulls. Immediately the first cleave goes all over the group and we wipe from lack of aggro. I ask him if he knows what to do, he says yes. Ok, try again. Second pull, he just stands there forever so I pull and we get to the adds before he fails to pick those up and we all get tail swiped all over the place. SMN says he'd been queuing for 30 minutes for this. I think we tried once more and it failed so we just vote abandoned.

It's just SO frustrating when people queue into things without knowing what to do or at least asking for help. I estimated from his DPS that he might have not been actually using any skills at all and only doing auto attacks. He was in a group with 5 mega-experienced people and it would have been an easy clear if he'd just known what to do, or tried to learn. I wasn't expecting anyone to know the fight perfectly in a DF group but just watching a video or being able to keep aggro would be nice.
