It’s incredibly toxic to cancel people who have different opinions from yours. The left has gone way too far and I believe left extremism is fuelling right extremism and authoritarianism. People are getting sick of this shit and overcompensating in the other direction. From my own personal experience, I was liberal until 2017 when all this nonsense about dismantling the patriarchy, white guilt, cancel culture, identity politics, and equality of outcome became mainstream in the liberal and democratic parties around NA and west Europe. The radical left has ruined the left wing and now I’m on the right (which is really just the 2010 version of the left)
