I am a huge horror fan, and have been a Resident Evil fan since i was 8 years old. Back then i wasnt allowed to play it, for obvious reasons, and so I'd hide in my brothers room without him knowing so i could watch. I can still recall the first time i watched, and subsequently played Resi 2. When i finished it my mind was blown to realise you could play through essentially a second game from the other side of the car-crash fire.

Since then, I've played every Resi game I've been able to get my hands on, my favourites in recent times being Revelations 2 (cos Barry Burton), and replaying my way through 4 in HD.

If i were to play it, I'd be playing on PS4 or Steam, PS4 being more likely.

I'm hesitant to purchase it myself because frankly, i can't afford it at present, I won't give the sob story, but times have been hard of late. I will be honest and say i was apprehensive about the perspective shifting to first person, but i've run through the demo about a dozen times and i find it works really well. It feels like Resident Evil to me, for the first time in a long time.
