Reading this made me seriously sad. If you cant see how them spying on their own citizens is a massive fucking problem in a country that tries to claim its the home of the free and all that shit... well I don't know, that further decreases my hope for our species. Have you ever read 1984, or Brave New World? We currently live in a cross between the worlds of those books. A country can't pride itself on Freedom and Democracy, and also spy on it's citizens. U.S.A. is an Oligarchy, and it has only gotten less and less free over the last several decades. It may not seem so important right now, but if the citizens take on a mindset like you it will only get worse. I don't have time to explain to you why someone would be against invasion of privacy by the State, but I can point you to a valuable resource.

Here's a independent researcher and journalist that focuses on geo-politics. He has nearly 200,000 subscribers on youtube and provided sources for everything he ever says, unlike the Mainstream Media that most people get their view of the world from. You have to lay down your preconceived notions as you watch these following videos, otherwise cognitive dissonance will likely stop you from even finishing a one of them. If you are truly interested in knowing why the spying is a problem, these are a good starting point, if you're just feigning interest, well, you likely wont even watch the videos so whatever.
