People shit on him cuz it's Reddit and he's a republican. prior to this pandemic he was one of the most popular governors in the country, was frequently bipartisan and showed a lot of care for environmental issues. He certainly didn't handle this pandemic well at first but I think he's gotten better about it now. I also actually had COVID and it was pretty rough but l didn't require hospitalization I just slept through it for a week. I think overall the US is REALLY erring on the side of caution But when it's human lives at stake it's hard not to. I think desantis has had a really level headed approach to this whole thing but I'm bracing for downvoted.
