INFORMATION CONCERNING MAIL FRAUD

Excuse me while I roll my eyes for 15 minutes. As though newegg and amazon have never shipped the wrong item before or changed the item type/description on their webpage after it had been shipped to numerous people in a bumbling attempt to 'fix' the issue. There's absolutely nothing in the link you provided to suggest that Jet.com was intentionally defrauding people: the webpage mislabeling was likely an error made by their unqualified staff. Annoying? Certainly. I myself have received the wrong item from them and had to return it: they made the process as simple and easy as possible, providing a free shipping label and apologizing for the inconvenience.

Jet.com, proceeded to force consumers to return the inferior unsolicited item (SAPPHIRE Radeon R9 290X) in order to receive a refund for the expected item (SAPPHIRE Radeon R9 390X) that was never received.

Why would a company ever force a customer to return an item? Do they not want the customers' money? If the customer wanted a 390X over a 290X I'm assuming they'd want to return it anyways.

It took report to NJ BBB, providing evidence to Attorney Generals of two states that showed Jet actively lying, a report to US Postal Inspector Services, and a report to IC3 in order for Jet to begin collaborating after committing multiple instances of mail and wire fraud as well as unsolicited fraud.

There's no proof/documentation posted about any of this.

Jet.com, Inc., responded to direct consumer complaints by informing consumers they were instead being charged for the unsolicited item (SAPPHIRE Radeon R9 290X) at the price paid for the expected item (SAPPHIRE Radeon R9 390X).

Again, there's no documentation of this. All that's posted are a bunch of URLs with the error and links to government websites about how many laws they're breaking (gimme a break).

Unless there's an actual email or documented proof of Jet.com trying to intentionally defraud customers, all of this is just a glorified witch hunt.

Note that regardless, this is all entirely irrelevant: Jet.com has a 30-day no hassle return policy. So if you received the wrong item you can just return it: no questions asked.
