"Helpless adult men", I know nothing about.

But young girls (and boys) passing themselves off as older and getting involved with legal aged people is something that does happen quite often. I'm not a subject matter expert, though. I'm sure it's extremely uncommon but, I knew three girls in high school 20+ years ago who at 16 had made a game out of it. They would go to local clubs and a local university posing as college students and would hook up with college aged boys. They kept score of their exploits but, eventually they got busted and disappeared.

My wife is a therapist focusing on substance abuse, trauma, and anxiety disorders. Along with her practice, she's worked a lot of different places over the years. The only other time I had heard of young girls doing such things was in those true crime tv shows but, my wife actually opened my eyes quite a bit.

In her career she has dealt with a lot of young women and men who posed as legal aged for various reasons, and engaged with legal aged people in sexual activity. None of it was intended as entrapment, though, at least to the best of my rather limited knowledge. It was often tied to substance abused issues, sometimes tied to prostitution, sometimes across State lines. She has many patients (male and female) who got involved in it somewhat innocently out of finding it new and exciting.

Anyway, take that as you will. For context, the pool of people I'm referring to measures in the hundreds (I don't think my wife had cared for thousands of patients by that point in her career), which is a relatively small number compared to the millions and millions who are out there. Frankly, though, the ones I worry about the most are the ones who are victims that go unreported.
