Harris heads to Poland amid turbulence over jets for Ukraine

What a surprise.

Poland was already planning on mothballing those planes and upgrading their fleet, they simply decided to ask if it was okay to give them to Ukraine instead of decommissioning them since Ukraine is at war and could use them. The U.S. said "sure, why not?", then Poland quickly turned around and said "wait wait wait you take them instead and then give them to Ukraine for us :DDD (and give us new planes, too)"

I can't believe that Europeans are so openly solidifying the "we hate American imperialism/military spending/foreign policy... until we need it/can get something out of it" stereotype. If you don't want Americans meddling in your affairs, why are you actively forcing and begging for Americans to meddle in your affairs?

Where is the rest of Europe? Do none of these other countries want to facilitate this transfer? Do none of the care about the war that is happening on their doorstep?
