I hate God

Why is it important for humanity to fully embrace the futility of life? That does not encourage anything. You are taking a religious view, "life is eternal - longevity is God" and you are simply reversing it. "They say they have purpose. Well WE DON'T."

There will always be the unknowable - we sit here right now, using what we know to move forward. Intelligent life will always have more to discover. Just ask a scientist to explain quantum theory and multiverses. We can be passionate about understanding the mechanics of life and knowing it will always bring progress.

To say "humans need to realize theres no point"

A.) In a subtle way, it implies a lack of love and passion for "life" and it says "Because they have x, y, z beliefs, any idea dealing with fulfillment is solely theirs.

B.) It places a divide between everything and nothing. You give Religion monopoly over the "everything". That is pretty much their whole goal in the first place.

I'm definitely not knocking your statement or belief, but 50 times a day this sub hears of the same, tired Atheist motto- "When I was 15 I realized I was tired of them shoving their beliefs down my throat". It hurts me just typing that.

You are mad at people. You can say you are mad at God, but that doesn't help define anything for a non-believer. Again, you are reduced to the all-or-nothing argument. And to everyone else, you're on the wrong side. To believers, you might as well be a fly on the wall. You're purpose is washed away by the "futility of life" belief you have.

We hear Christians, time and time again, point out that God is taking up space in your mind. You're simply an immoral being, wasting his time mad over Christmas lights in the park.

You could not be any lower in the kind of a religious person.

Yes, we need to discuss and be prepared to defend- but our defense can't start with the ball in their court. We have to be fighting for LIFE as much as they are. Because if both camps have equal passion, they now have to defeat YOUR beliefs or purpose. Just don't say it's to make babies and die. You're that fly on the wall - without moral and purpose, pitied and avoided

I haven't slept in two days, I don't know why I didn't stop typing a while ago.
