HELP! Lanced a giant cyst myself and it doesn't look/feel right.....

Listen, I know it sounds crazy and technically everyone is different/this is my personal experience. But TLDR around a year ago I visited a derm for the first time after getting my acne significantly mitigated/“cured” with dietary/lifestyle changes. However Out of naivety I just blindly followed his instructions and used a bunch of topicals that gave me severe inflammation/cystic acne under the guise of “purging” that was honestly even worse or at least multiple of what you’re dealing with. I had never dealt with anything like that so after a few months of watching things migrate and progressively get worse I finally got into a new derm, just as of the past month or so I’ve gotten back to 0 active acne & by using CeraVes gentle hydrating foam cleanser & dapsone once a day at night (and eventually implemented trentinoin once a week to combat the scarring/residual closed comedones I’m still dealing with but all the inflammation/cysts are completely gone) also I take an oral antibiotic called minocycline which I feel makes the biggest difference alongside dapsone, I am a male however so their may be a more beneficial medication.

Anyways I wish you the best, just don’t fuck with it trust me it’s hard but the more you inflame it the worse it’ll become and migrate. Steroid shots are the #1 go for those ones imo
