is this accutane worthy? or should i try other stuff first?

Cutting dairy isn't proven to affect your acne. People say it makes a difference, it very well may, but it is unproven. I don't even know if a derm would give you accutane if you haven't tried itc meds. I think you should get a simple routine of a gentle face wash, moisturizer and SPF. Common brands are Cetaphil, CreaVe and Vanticream. Get these and use them first to make sure they don't break you out. Then I would add in Adapalene because it's effective and gentler than some other treatments. Read the instructions and read about the purge. Check out some other people's experiences with it around here. Start slow. You should see good results after 6 weeks-ish.
