A helpful quote❤️

The OP nailed it and it describes me very well. I have underlying mental issues that make matters worse. The quote hit home with me. It also gave me a bit of hope. Thank you for that

I must address the comment that followed. One that disagrees in the concept of being unique. It is undoubtedly true that each of us ARE unique. First, everyone has a bit of difference in their physiology. Ask any Dr. Research it. It's a fact. Second, each of us is unique mentally. Each of us has experienced a different social, economic and physical environment in incalculable ways. Each and everyone of us wears a different shade of rose colored glasses. We see things from billions of perspectives. Third and last, God made us in his own image. Be offended if you choose. I hope not to offend but I stand by my beliefs. The DNA from Adam & Eve was complex. Over generations it has branched out. The DNA we now have is unique to each and every soul, mind and body. Some are red or yellow or black or white. But we are all descendants from God's creation. We all share common ancestry but we are all unique. Each of us are granted free will. Each of us choose differantly as to how we live our life. At the end of the day we share commonalities that are subsets of the whole. Hence, communities, states, nations and spiritual beliefs. These subsets can be unique and share common traits. That's normal, acceptable and to be expected. So I don't get the point of arguing about uniqueness. The OP quote applies to a subset. What's so wrong about that? Maybe I misunderstood a part of the conversation. It would not be a first for me. And as always, I remain open to differing opinions for the sake of discussion and Il'm always second guessing my beliefs to ensure I'm open to change when facts prove any incorrect beliefs system.

And no, I'm not so open minded that my brain falls out. Nor do i succumb to "group think" whereby I agree because an idea is popular or simply well stated. I like to think I'm unique and judicious in my conclusions.

Ok, ONWARD. I have to fight the cravings today.
