There's still a HUGE chunk of people who don't even know who he is. The entire media is against him and rarely talks about him unless they have to, and if they do it's saying things like "He doesn't have a chance", or calling him a socialist. The entire democratic establishment is against him.

There's really not. The media is giving him fine treatment, but his views are outside the norm of the nation, and it is not unfair to describe how he differs. BS supporters want to talk about being an outsider and anti-establishment, but so does Trump. The media has to define what that ambiguous term means.

Also BS has had a year to tell people about himself. He doesn't get a project extension. This is it. The key days are Iowa, NH, NV, SC, and Super Tuesday. Campaigns have expiration dates, they are elections. Bernie is running through these expiration dates. The only reason he is still standing now is because of his online fundraising. Take that away and this contest was done yesterday.

Despite all this he's went from 5% to 45-50% nationally in under a year. I'd say that's definitely resonating with the American people.

That's fine, but that doesn't mean a win. Also no one has run a true negative ad against Sanders. You'll know the first real negative ad because they're going to mention Russia/Soviet Union.

Honestly Clinton is just racing against the clock. Can she win enough to stem the bleeding? He's been steadily gaining the entire campaign so far, and I don't see any reason for it to slow down. It's pretty damn clear that if this primary was held one or two months later than it is Sanders would almost definitely be the strong favorite to win. As it stands now, I think it's going to be close (States from now on are much more favorable for Sanders on average than they have been).

Again with expiration dates. This is the latest Democratic primary in modern history, you either put up or shut up.

Hillary has time, bernie has money.
