The hidden cost of foreign student policy: Insiders respond

I went to SFU, I also by coincidence have been learning Mandarin since I was a child. While I was attending SFU there were flyers everywhere promising writing assistance with the provision that the work they would give you was "unique".

In short you're ignorant. It's laughable how in your face the schools are with respect to their lack of ethics re international students. Our institutions are addicted to the money, political correctness is also a negative force for change as you yourself demonstrated. Post-secondary education will continue to become more costly while at the same time being devalued.

There is no political leadership to deal with these issues head on. We can't even discuss them without idiots like you coming out of the woodwork and crying racism. If the international students were from Wales it wouldn't matter, the phenomenon would be the same. Our institutions aren't working to the benefit of your average Canadian, regardless of race, and the message is clear. That being look out for yourself and don't be conned by the false promises told to you by our society.
