"[Hillary Clinton's] gonna kill her campaign with the first mention of '77 cents on the dollar,' the statistic that not even feminists use anymore because it's been so incredibly and widely torn apart and debunked." [+27]

Ok, so, just a quick couple of FYIs since you seem to be unaware of them..

  1. Prevailing Republican Party Views ≠ All Views That Leftists Think are Bad

  2. "Hillary Clinton is plainly and obviously not a Republican and clearly holds significantly different views from them." ≠ "Hillary Clinton is so rad and so great, and everything she's done is great, and she's the best feminist ever, and the best everything ever. Yay Hillary."

But, more to the point.

96 welfare reform

I was going to say that Hillary Clinton isn't Bill Clinton, and isn't automatically responsible for the policies of his administration, even though she likely shares his views on a number of subjects. Then I remembered the 90's, when the bestest right-wing attack was that evil-woman Hillary Clinton was pulling all the strings in the Clinton administration, and how the meme resulting from that has sorta been adopted into Hillary lore. Also that whole idea that women become an extension of their husband when they are married. But you're way too informed to buy into any of that...

Iraq and Afganistan

Meanwhile, several of the republican presidential candidates have as foreign-policy advisors, people who have actively advocated using nuclear weapons against Iran (I think that'd be bad for women and children in Iran, probably, but it might make them more freeliberdomized). So yeah, I think it's a great idea to pretend that Hillary Clinton's views are just exactly that.
