I'm in a similar yet different situation. I look young. A lot younger than I am. Being short (160cm) on top of it doesn't help the matter in any way.

I'm almost 40 and still will get ID'Ed every now and then when I want to buy a beer or cigarettes which you can buy from age 16 and 18 respectively where I live.

Most times people still assume I would be around 18-20 years old only....so at least the ID problem mostly has gone away but it's still a fucked up situation.

I stopped drinking alcohol for the very reason that people loved to comment after checking my ID lik "oh you already are 37 years old? This is amazing, you look so young, be happy" ...and every one around was giving me a crusious look and commenting on how young I indeed would look.

No, looking young isn't amazing. It pretty much first ruined my social life and eventually ruined my work life too so pls stfu and just let me buy this PEGI 16 xbox game because playing video games is pretty much the only thing that is giving me peace in my life, along with my dog.
