I starter IF after Reading Dr Fung's book, I'm the worst overeater there is even though I work out I totally undo any progress at the end of the week when I don't have a set eating schedule.

A 16 hour fast is the best way to get me to listen and understand my hunger. it took me a week or so to really see that boredom is not a hunger signal I should listen to. after a few days of 16:8 I get back in the rhythm of things, and I actually experience less hunger.

Insulin wise I never measured it, but for what I've read: while there's insulin in the blood stream there's no fat loss, and I know I start losing weight more efficiently when I spread my meals more regardless of Carb/calorie count.
