I sleepwalk too. I once woke up in a room to find all the electrical outlets and overhead light fixture removed from the walls and ceiling and placed neatly on the floor, each under where they would normally go. Because I sleepwalk, I had made the doors and windows were locked before going to sleep.

It took me a full day of confused panic before realising I had done all that in my sleep. Presumably in complete darkness....with absolutely no tools whatsoever....not even a coin to twist screws out.

I don't think I ever got shocked either as I would imagine something like that would wake someone up? I still don't know how exactly I did it all as I know that if I did it now, while being fully awake and with a tool of some kind, I am 1000% certain I would get shocked at least once and more likely than not probably start a fire....

And that is just one of the many times I've sleepwalked (I woke up one morning with two identical cats each responding to the same name confused as hell scared each night would end up with another cat the next morning before realising I had somehow nicked a friend's cat from six blocks away in the middle of the night without knowing it...never paid enough conscious attention to know they even had a cat...or if others had even more and I was having night adventures with them but managed to get them all back home safely before the one time when I didn't and my cat multiplied itself....)

I don't take any kind of medication for anything, but I think people who take Ambien tend to sometimes have similar experiences. I can't speak for anyone else, but I personally don't feel badass, lol

I feel more like two seperate people living in the same body. One comes out during the day and is relatively normal. The other is a cat snatching MacGyver who goes on adventures?
