how has america not collapsed yet? this system is so fucking bad

The issue isn't realtors, it's wages, inflation, and the housing market, among other factors

Pffttttttttttttttttt.

The fuck it isn't. Realtors are like so many other things: Gate keepers to keep others down.

Haven't cared for them one bit, but that was really driven home in good old 89128 where the housing market crashed and burned horribly.

Woe is the worthless real estate agent/broker, crying into their offbrand cheerios when a gaggle of brief cases investors rushed in and dumped it straight on their desk post 08 crash...

Entire sub divisions even city blocks vanishing into investor coffers and being turned around as flipper dumps or rental hovels...

Oh they sang and danced "we're in the money" again and again with each closing, but so consumed by their greed and lust they didn't care to hold up and stop the gravy train that just crashed through their front doors...

Oceanside California near the ocean/strand has the entire beachfront property and back a couple blocks jam packed full of investor scum who snatched them up dirt cheap then turned them into Airbnb-esque rental shit holes...

I can't say it enough: Fuck realtors.

I will not except "time is a valuable resource yada yada" to justify their existence.

Purchasing a house should be like getting a carton of eggs at the store or a used vehicle.

Show up and grab it off the shelf or kick the tires and decide if it's a junker or not.

Gate keeping with a realtor just promotes greed, racism, artificial market controls and more. Take a gander around Orange County California with pockets of houses in Irvine for one example that never even hit the MLS, but are quietly traded/sold behind the scenes to briefcase investors...

How do you fight a system like that?
