What makes you think you should be treated differently than everyone else? There are two genders, male and female. It’s a scientific fact and the entire world has operated on this principle for thousands of years.

One washroom for each of the two biological genders is sufficient or a single gender neutral washroom if the department is smaller and only has one available.

Do you really think the police are going to send a specific gendered officer to suit your needs? It’s a police department, not a Waffle House. You don’t get to place an order. They have a job to do and the number one concern is safety. If you are more concerned about the gender of the officer than the need for the police’s help, then you probably don’t need to call them.

Pronouns. Jesus Christ. If you’re offended because someone calls you a pronoun other than the one you prefer, get the fuck over it. If it’s that important, you can politely ask them to refer to you as you prefer. But don’t expect people to make some effort to figure out what it is you want to be called. Again, completely irrelevant to the officer’s job.

I’d love to know why you think the “LGBTQ+” community needs to be served differently than everyone else. Isn’t the whole point that everyone should be treated EQUALLY? Now you want special treatment? Maybe we should have separate washrooms for every single identity, race, sexual preference, religion, and nationality out there! Yes! We can build an entire building of washrooms! We can put one of those mall map things at the front door so you can figure out which floor and section your washroom is in.

Also, we can start putting little symbols on people’s clothes identifying their preferred pronoun or even their gender identify. Hmm, where have I see symbols on clothes to identify people before? Nowhere good.

I’ll tell you what...live your life however you want to. Love whoever you want to love. Call yourself whatever you want to call yourself. Be the happiest you can be in whatever way you need to be. But don’t expect the rest of the world to have to cater to your personal beliefs or desires. Most people don’t care how you want to live your life, so stop trying to jam it down their throats.
