I empathize with you deeply. Its hard right now, its really hard. This is how I cope. I remember that the people who fight for justice and equality have many enemies. I remember that historical figures that change the world for the better did so through endless turmoil and relied on their resilience. I remember that those movements were not made up of super humans they were made up of average simple vulnerable individuals who knew that what they were fighting for was worth the pain. You know that all humans were created equal and that love should be universal. You know the truth.

Captain America was presented with the same question you are asking here and I find his response (though fictional) inspiring. He said

"Doesn't matter what the press says. Doesn't mater what the politicians or the mob say. Doesn't mater if the whole country decides that something wrong is something right. This nation was founded on one principle above all else, the requirement that we stand up for what we believe, no matter the odds or the consequences.

When the mob and the press and the whole world tell you to move your job is to plant your feet like roots of a tree beside the river of truth and tell the whole world No. You move. "

Now this is the same logic that the Nazis are using. However the truth they think they believe is in fact a lie. Its a measurable lie its not based in reality. Therefore they can not succeed. Their roots are planted in bigotry, idolatry, and selfishness. They will fall when the truth floods forth in a title wave of justice.

We create the title wave we rise up like the tide against the forces of evil and we say No. You move. We are stronger. We are larger. And we will fight like hell until we are louder too. Its time to write history the way we want it to be. Its time to fight on the side of humanity on the side of equality. It is a fight to be sure but its a noble one and one you can tide pride in. We are the future. We are justice. We are the truth. We are America!

So don't let yourself be discouraged by the opposition. By opposing you they make you great and they make us stronger. We have a war to win. So pick your chin up soldier and move out.
