This is very astute. I’ve known/know several old money families. All have weathered storms and tragedies, whether large or small. Some have more dysfunctional members than others. From my observations, when “family” does something bad for the family business or family name, inasmuch as they love them, consequences happen and as quietly as possible. Every single time. Just my observations.

I find it interesting how radio silent most of HW is after the reality series. Remember all the big support after OW? I don’t think they understand the extent of what they’ve done. Sure, people will use them for tabloid type attention but who would even trust them with their 4 day old sandwich wrapper?
