IamA Flight Attendant at a Major US airline AMA!

I'm not trying to be an asshole but seriously why is this the goto statement everyone uses when they start talking to us. They will just about let anyone in and will even waiver a felony and most medical conditions. Its really annoying that everyone I meet at some point or another 'tried to join'.

I understand that there are people who legit are turned away but going and talking to a recruiter and making the decision to not join does not give anyone the right to take that little tiny bit of self accomplishment. If you had any idea what it actually ment to get on that chartered flight with your weapon wondering if you were going to be on the chartered flight back you would understand.

It would be the same as someone telling you they once applied to be a flight attendant.
