I recognise history.

And history tells me that if all the problems of human life are still with us 10,000 years on, then they're not likely to go anywhere in the near future.

People are dolts, they act like it's all about applying the right system, but the key actor is the human element. Every system can and will be abused.

There is nowhere you can go to be a free man, live off the land, escape from the grip of tyranny.

You can be a farmer in a communal village, but one day men from the city will come and take your cow and your house. And if you don't like it you can eat a bullet.

Or you can be a pioneer, take some acres for your family and build a homestead. But you'll have to sleep with your rifle to shoot the Indians whose land you're on.

There will be people at the top and people at the bottom, always. And it's pretty clear where people want to be. The top needs the bottom to exist.

The government doesn't give a shit about you, you're a tool to make money for it. And it has no values or morals. All that matters is staying on top, and it will do what is necessary to keep it that way. No laws can control it, it makes the laws, for you and me to follow. Today it will give you a tax credit, tomorrow it will come and arrest you. It will make friends with the worst dictatorship in the history of civilization and still claim to be a bastion of freedom and democracy with a straight face, so to speak.

So keeping that in mind, all governments, political parties and theories start to blur together and look the same.

Really the key difference is which groups of people are exploited.

For capitalists its foreigners in the Middle East being bombed for our oil, and people from Asia to make all our shit for cheap.

For the communists it's their own people. Same difference really, somebody's always getting fucked.

So instead of writing out silly rants, I usually just say it's a big bowl of shit and wipe my hands of the whole thing.
