Ideas for zero waste packaging

Use paper and maybe old newspapers as a padding to prevent breaks during delivery. You could test-ship it to friends, to see how it works out.

A more expensive solution: put them in cloth bags. It's at least reusable. There are also biodegradable plastics made out of corn or cane sugar. I've seen companies sell teas and spices in it.

I've bought soaps from a soap company, which gave me the choice between packaged or packaged free soap. Of course, the package free ones would be a bit cheaper. You could add that to your shopping cart and let costumers chose if they want paper, cloth, bio-plastic, package free or some other low waste options.
