Group A: GE Tigers - Cloud 9
I think it will be a relativly easy game for the GE Tigers, they are pretty much better at every Position and at the same time better when it comes to Strategy. They will probably just win every Lane and then the Game will be over pretty soon. Cloud 9 at there best could have maybe had a decent chance on winning a game but i think they are just to incosistent at the moment und Hai is just to easy to ban out right now.
Group A: SK Gaming - Yoe Flash Wolves
To be honest i dont really know anything about the Yoe Flash Wolves, i have never watched them so i cant say much. As a European and as a European Fanboy :> i just expect SK Gaming to win, i dont think it will be a stomp but it also shouldnt be that hard. Godgiven will just have 400cs at 30 Minutes and Hardcarry the Game.
Group A: GE Tigers - SK Gaming
Well this Game is gonna be interesting. I think the GE Tigers are gonna win, but i expect SK Gaming to show us a good Game. The Players are mechanically pretty even at most positions. Smeb is a pretty good Toplaner but on the other side Fredy is absolutly solid. Lee vs Svenskeren could be a a very important match up, SK could maybe even upset GE if Svenskeren can counterjungle and duel lee effectivly. Kuro vs Fox could also be interesting, Fox in my opinion is an underrated midlaner in Europe, he killed Febiven and Nukeduck both 1vs1 this weekend if i remeber correcly, you cant just 1vs1 those 2 for fun, they are mechanically very good midlaners. I think it will be an even match up. Godgiven vs Pray, the match up i am looking forward to see as a main ADC. Both players mechanically strong and very good in teamfights. Gorilla vs nRated, well Gorilla is mechanically the better support Player and extremly good on certain picks, he could make the difference in this Game. It could go even if nRated gets Lulu. At the end i think that GE will come up with a better Strategy and win the Game. But i am looking forward to see Godgiven vs Pray.
Group A: Cloud 9 - Yoe Flash Wolves
Like i said before i dont really know anything about the Yoe Flash Wolves. I expect a win from Cloud 9, shouldnt be that hard for them to win with a better Strategy.
Group A: SK Gaming - Cloud 9
Well that Game is gonna be interesting. In my opinion Fredy is a better Toplaner than Balls right now, Meteos vs Svenskeren should be an even matchup, Fox is better than Hai mechanically, Godgiven is a better ADC than Sneaky and nRated vs Lemonation shouldnt make a big difference. I think the Game will be relatively close but SK Gaming will win because like i said before, Cloud 9 are very inconsistent this season and it looks like Hai is just to easy to ban out at the moment. SK Gaming is also mechanically a little bit better overall than Cloud 9. When it comes to the Strategy and Shotcalling of the Game i would say Cloud 9 is a bit better but i dont think that it will be enough for them at this tournament.
Group B: Gambit Gaming - CJ Entus
Fuck yeah this Matchup was always good in history. When we think about the matchups than i would say Cabochard vs Shy will not make a big difference in lane, but Shy´s zoning in Teamfights is incredibly good, if he gets the right champ he can carry the Game with a good Teamfight. Diamond vs Ambition well Diamond looks very strong in the last Games and Ambition is a bit hit or miss depending on what Champion he plays, i give this matchup to Diamond he can carry from the jungle is he gets going. betsy vs Coco, well this midlane is intresting, both players mechanically skilled, as long as Gambits bans out the right Champions: Leblanc, Jayce, Kassadin,(Xerath?), the lane could be even. P1noy vs Space, i will give it to Space, he is a solid Player this season and P1noy is sometimes a bit overagressiv in certain situations which can cost Gambit the Game. Edward vs Madlife, The Threshlegends against each other, both look good but not amazing this season i would say, i will give it to Madlife because i think he makes less mistakes and looks better overall. I expect CJ Entus to win with a better Strategy but i also wouldnt be to surprised if Gambit wins, just because CJ´s Pick/Ban Phase doesnt always look great, they also look a bit shaky sometimes. Another chance for Gambit would be if Diamond is able to dumpster Ambition, because he doesnt look that great in some gamesand on certain champions.
Group B: Team Solo Mid - Team WE
I cant say that much about the matchup because i havent seen much recently of WE. I watched some of there Games at the beginning of the season and they looked pretty bad actually. It looks like WE plays a bit better right now but i am not sure how the matchups will end. If i would have to guess i think the Players to look for are bjergsen on TSM and Spirit on WE. I think TSM will win but i expect a close Game.
Group B: CJ Entus - Team Solo Mid
Another interesting Game. When we look at the matchup again: Dyrus vs Shy, i think Shy is better in Lane and better in teamfights. Santorin vs Ambition, i think Ambition is better but this matchup depends more on which of those two can get there midlaner going. Bjergsen vs Coco, well two mechanically strong and deadly players, this lane depends on what champions they get, both of them can hardcarry games. Wildturtle vs Space, i give it to Space again, like i said before he is a solid player and wildturtles teamfight positioning is sometimes questionable. Lustboy vs Madlife, the CJ Supports against each other, both with different playstyles, lustboy more of the protect the carry and madlife a bit more of a playmaker, i would say madlifes looks a little bit better but not that much. In my opinion CJ will be victorious by winning important Teamfights and with better Rotations, but i think TSM can show us a good Game.
Group B: Gambit Gaming - Team WE
Like i said before i cant say much about Team WE. I think Gambit will win.
Group B: Team Solo Mid - Gambit Gaming
Another great Game for the Eu/Na Rivalry. When we look at the matchups again: Cabochard vs Dyrus, i think Cabochard is better in Lane than Dyrus but weaker in Teamfights. Santorin vs Diamond, shouldnt be that hard to call, Diamond is just better at most expects and has an imense amount of experience compard to Santorin. Bjergsen vs betsy, both mechanically skilled Players, i would say Bjergsen is better overall, also has more experience than betsy and he can hardcarry on certain champs. Wildturtle vs P1noy, both players have there problems, wildturtles teamfight postioning is sometimes not that amazing, p1noy on the other side is a bit to agressiv in certain situations. Lustboy vs Edward is almost the same than Lustboy vs Madlife, a protect the carry against a playmaker, i think this matchup is more even than against Madlife. Honestly its hard for me to say who wins, both teams have there Problems. I will say its 60/40 for TSM but as a European and as a little Gambit Fan i hope the will win.
Semifinal 1: GE Tigers - Gambit Gaming(hope was to strong....)
I expect GE to win this Semifinal. Except from the Jungle i cant find anything where Gambit would be better than GE. The others lane are all even or in favor of GE, they also have a better Pick/Ban Phase and a better overall Strategy and Rotation. Makes me Q.Q
Semifinal 2: SK Gaming - CJ Entus
This will be great semifinal and i actually think it could go either way. The matchups are pretty intresting. CJ looks better at Top and Support, while SK looks better at the Jungle and ADC. The Games will depend on how good Ambition plays in the Jungle and on what Champs Coco and nRated get, that also makes the Pick/Ban Phase very important in this Games. CJ looks sometimes questionable at Pick/Ban and SK looks pretty ok at it i would say. When it comes to Teamfights i would give the edge to CJ because Shy is just amazing on certain Champs in Teamfights and Strategy could also be slightly in the favor of CJ. I am sure it will be a good and interesting serious, as a European i hope SK will win even though i am a CJ Fan -.-
Final: GE Tigers - SK Gaming/CJ Entus
I dont really think it matters at the end who of them will face the GE Tigers. Overall the Tigers look like maybe the best Team in the world, the 2:0 CJ pretty easily the last time the played each other and like i said before i dont think SK is better than CJ. Whatever Team GE will face i am sure the will win in a best of serious, maybe they lose one game but i dont think they will lose the serious. They are just to solid in all Lanes and are pretty good when it comes to Pick/Ban, Strategy and Rotations.
I know its not the best written analysis so i am open for critic to my writting skills (which arent to amazing ....) and on critic of the analysis.
