If you are pro torture, pro death penalty and very religious, you are like ISIS.

One guy you speak of. It isn't even remotely comparable to the issues we face with Islam. All you have to do to figure out which religions are moderated or reformed is too look at there holy cities.

Is Vatican City imposing biblical law? No. Is Jerusalem using the Talmud as a means of legal prosecution? No. Is Sharia employed in Mecca? Yes, you can be killed for being gay, an apostate, for blasphemy, for simply being an atheist and adulterers are applicable for the wonderful treat of being stoned to death. Saudi Arabia isn't even the only Muslim country that employs religious law, many still do to this day.

In Mecca they actually use Hanbali jurisprudence and ancient superstitions to enforce law in there country. Islam is scarier and more damaging at this moment in time than either Christianity or Judaism have been for ages. This is just there law, if that wasn't enough radical Islam is very well subscribed and there seems to be an endless pool of people willing to die for the faith. To pretend Christian nutbags who may dislike gay marriage is comparable to throwing them off a cliff or hanging them by a crane by LAW in Muslim countries is to be morally confused about what we are up against.
