It’s fine if you don’t like it, but there’s a reason so many of America and the world’s wealthy spend so much time here.

By far not the worst taxes in the world — even within the US I have friends in TX and FL who pay more in property tax than we do in state and city income tax, at least capital gains can usually be deferred — but there’s no comparison to what we would pay in much of Europe.

And, my honest opinion is that New York is kinder than fake Southern Hospitality, they just don’t spend much time caring about clueless tourists.
