No offense, but that seems a little pretentious to think that your documentation of the collapse will be one that whole bunch of people will see, so much so that you are intending to publish a "masterwork".

Like I totally get documenting this for yourself. But it's a delusion of grandeur to think yours will be any more significant than the millions of people out there who will be doing the exact same thing. In a lot of ways that's why we've gotten here as a society, to be perfectly frank, is because literally every person out there thinks they are the important one.

Just do it for yourself as a personal journal. Show it to your friends. Publish it online and on youtube. But just don't have any expectation that more than a handful of people are going to actually see it.
