No guarantee that you'll make it until you're 55 and certainly no guarantee that you'll make it until 73 to see even your first child to adulthood.
No guarantee that you'll actually be financially comfortable to support a family in retirement. It's actually easier to get health insurance as an employed adult than to buy it for a family as a retiree.
It is highly unlikely you will be as active and engaged a parent as an older adult. It's not guaranteed but most people become more calcified in their ways as they age. Young children need flexible and energetic parents.
No guarantee you'll find a younger partner who'll want to parent with you. It's a raw deal for them as they'll likely be parenting solo as children get older and/or signing up to take care of an aging partner.
