It's insane how far we've come in 20 years [Tomb Raider]

So if I gave you an Xbox one and it only had a picture of a brick wall that would be the same as a £1000 PC? Because as you say its all just zeroes and ones?

That zeroes and ones argument is one of the stupidest I've ever heard. They look in my opinion and in the opinion of the majority of people with mid end PCs, those zeroes and ones look vastly different on PC than they do on xbox.

I play GTA V on PC at 1080p at a constant 60fps with ultra settings. And ultra settings look so much better than the standard of settings on the Xbox one.

You talk about titan x's and sli 980s but I use a single 970 and my games look much better now than they did when I had my Xbox one.

You still talking about price v performance, seriously? Okay $300 dollar console. 2 games one controller one cheap MIC. Then each addition game on release date costs you $60 give or take $5~ $60 a year for the ability to play games you've already purchased online. add that up saying you buy 3 brand new games a year and in 2 years that's a total of $780 give or take $100 depending on what games you buy. So $780 for 1 console 2 years of xbl and 6 brand new games. For about $600 you could build a PC which could destroy any of the consoles which are out. Then 180 could get you about 6 brand new games because of how cheap they are on PC. (I can buy the division already for $40) and that price will come down before its released in the next month.

1440p and 4k monitors have been steadily reducing in price for months now. I've never once had a problem running a game on my PC from steam, apart from tomb raider 1 for 1996. But I only had to change a colour mode in the properties tab. Can your Xbox one run tomb raider 1 from 1996?

Good luck beating a PS4/Xbox one with a 1080p screen.

Every game I play on my 1080p monitor look so much better due to being able to play at ultra settings when consoles are limited to medium-high settings. So my games absolutely do look better at 1080p on monitor.

And if games have been failing for you on your laptop and your 'Alienware' PC maybe you are the problem and not the PC games?I built my own computer about 10 months ago and have never had 1 problem playing a game from a fresh install. When I installed 200+ mods on skyrim (which plays at 1080p) then I had a bit of trouble booting, can your Xbox play skyrim with 200 mods? Thought not. I had to uninstall 2 incompatible mods and then it runs great.

Another huge advantage PC has over consoles is the mods which I'm not gonna even go into. But I'll just leave this here.

You may not be able to get viruses or malware on Xbox, but you also can't do 99% of the other things a fully functioning personal computer will do. Such as use Photoshop or create word documents or spread sheets or have a personalised desktop etc. It is pretty hard to get a virus or malware these days, all you have to do is not visit suspicious looking sites and download files from places you are not certain of.

And I'll will build you a build tomorrow when I wake up, showing you a PC for around the $450-500 mark that will get solid performance on all games @ 1080p.
