Inside the Republican creation of the North Carolina voting bill dubbed the ‘monster’ law - "A review of these documents shows that North Carolina GOP leaders launched a meticulous and coordinated effort to deter black voters, who overwhelmingly vote for Democrats."

You do realize most of the planet requires photo ID to cast a vote?

Well, let's take a closer look at that, shall we? Here's the Voter ID requirements in Canada. Since the U.S. Court of Appeals struck down North Carolina's photo ID requirement, we'll have to look at those of other states. Here's the Voter ID requirements in Wisconsin and here's the Voter ID requirements in Texas. Now, see how much more onerous the requirements are in Texas and Wisconsin are than what's acceptable in Canada? Any ID requirements for voting should not, in the least, make it more difficult for legal, eligible voters to exercize their rights to vote. The state governments should be going out of their ways, practically bending over backwards, to ensure that there are no barriers, whatsoever, that prevent legal, eligible voters from exercizing their rights to vote. This is in direct contrast to what occurred in Alabama, for example. ALABAMA MANDATES VOTER ID, THEN CLOSES DRIVER’S LICENSE OFFICES IN ALMOST EVERY BLACK AREA.
