Insulin price spike leaves diabetes patients in crisis - "in 2001 had the wholesale price of $45. By last year, the cost had skyrocketed to $1,447" for the same monthly supply.

For arguments sake; let's assume tomorrow we find a way to prove when consciousness occurs.

Such that we prove "Likes this song, and kicks when we do X" are literally nerve responses and no real consciousness exists at that point.

What I meant by this and don't take it the wrong way; say we tomorrow prove before let's say 18 months a baby is literally just a computer with no real thought, personality etc. It's simply ingrained behavior and "real life" starts at 18 months.

No not arguing this is the case; but just assume it is for the discussion. Would you support killing babies that are 17 months old?

I would. I realize that we are very easily tricked, and certain things that seem like they are "Conscious" aren't. What if I found out tomorrow that babies only act like X until real consciousness forms at age Y? I'd support abortions up to that age. We are programmed to care for our young and procreate.

No I literally don't think that's the case; I generally feel 7 months is utterly pushing it, and 6 months should be the cut off. I guess my point is; if tomorrow it's shown it's 5 months, I want that to be the cut off. If it's 30 months, I want that to be the cut off. Yes i'm giving ridiculous numbers, but I care about what I define as a human, with human consciousness. Not what appears to have it but doesn't.
