Alright guys, this happened a few weeks ago.
It was a Tuesday night, and like any other Tuesday night I am playing Counterstrike: Global Offensive, the highly popular First Person Shooter.
During a competitive match, I came across a young boy. This boy had a particular high voice, and now normally I'm fine with the young whipper snappers playing, but this boy, Oh he was no usual boy. This boy was spamming our entire team with hateful comments in his high voice, kinda sounded like a leprechaun had been kicked in the lucky charms.
I said "Hey, can you chill?"
He had no chill.
He kills me in the game (essentially being an ass for no reason.)
This was the final straw.
I pull up his steam account to find any info on this kid, just to fuck with him
I happen to come across a youtube account that is his "Pro DJ and Dubstep" profile. I browsed around and found a "contact" button. This button allowed me to have the e-mail linked to his youtube account.
I then search the e-mail address in Facebook, and come across 1 little boy's Facebook. Same name as his steams, same pictures. I then look into his friends list and search his last name. 3 hits, appears to be his dad, mum and brother. I then search the white pages online with his parents initials and the last name, and the small town they live in.
1 result.
I come back to CS after being AFK for 2 rounds to this kid screaming at me for being afk. I say into the voice chat "Hey REAL NAME that lives at REAL ADDRESS, If you don't SHUT THE FUCK UP AND BE NICE I'M GOING TO HAVE TO COME FOR A VISIT AND TEACH YOU TO PLAY NICELY."
The kid instantly freaks the fuck out, doesn't say a thing the rest of the game and we lose anyway. He sends me a friend request on steam and invites me to voice chat (or whatever its called).
"IM SO SORRY PLEASE DONT COME TO MY HOUSE, PLEASE DONT HURT ME F-F-FAMILY cries IM SO SORRY PLEASE YOU CAN HAVE EVERYTHING JUST LEAVE US ALONE IM SO SCARED"
Me: "Its okay dude im not going to hurt you or anything, i live nowhere close. Why are you so toxic in games?"
"I DONT KNOW I GUESS BECAUSE I GET BULLIED AT SCHOOL A BIT BUT IM SO SORRY PLEAAAAAAASSEEEE"
I just sent him a message saying "its okay, just block me. Lighten up, bullies are just like you. Scared of someone else bigger so they take it out on others. Tell your parents and the school so they can help."
I blocked the kid and haven't contacted since. I 100% took it way too far, but something sparked inside me from that kid.
