I totally agree! We have looked at this lifestyle differently than his peers from what I have noticed. From early on we decided that we would life off base and try to have as much as a “normal” life as possible with the job that he has. I just couldn’t fathom living, shopping, and going to the doctor at the same place as all of his coworkers, for me it’s just odd. In any other circumstance that would be too much. I love the community but I just couldn’t be THAT immersed . If that makes sense.

I don’t know. Hopefully it gets better. We are planning our lives for when he gets out which is very soon and I just want normal circumstances where I don’t have to keep explaining why I am moving so much.
