Joe Rohde is Retiring

TLDR: This IS AWFUL. But I respect anything that brings him what he wants in life and am so thankful for what he has brought to this world.

Wow, this is horrible news. 2020 is awful. He was supposed to create that entire new island experience for Disney cruises. I was so excited because what he creates is my absolute favorite part of Disney parks so I thought we would have an island to vacation always that would be filled with his love of the world.

Everest still hasn't been fixed.

​

And I've always felt AK was always so protected since it was his domain.

​

This hurts and I hope it doesn't end up as awful as it feels it could. At least for Animal Kingdom.

Thank you so much Joe Rohde for inspiring us to see the world in new ways.
